7. COMMITTEE RESOLUTIONS FOR CONSIDERATION
(a) Finance and Corporate Services Committee
(i) BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Finance & Corporate Services Committee recommends that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Lake of Bays is hereby willing to negotiate a fair agreement with the District regarding the purchase or lease of land from the township and that the township of Lake of Bays is willing to support in principle the Muskoka Archive Facility project pending budget discussions at the District. (Muskoka Archive Facility)
(ii) BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Finance & Corporate Services Committee recommends to the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Lake of Bays that the projects listed and attached in Appendix “A” be approved for submission to the Honourable Minister Tony Clement, MP for Muskoka-Parry Sound as projects that will support and enhance the G8 Summit and serve to promote tourism development in Muskoka.

(iv) BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Finance & Corporate Services Committee recommend that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Lake of Bays to voluntarily participate in a preparedness program of consequence management for the G8 Summit provided that there will be no substantial costs to the municipality.
