It takes a village to raise a child
MISSION STATEMENT
The Baysville After School Program is designed to
provide children with a safe, healthy and happy
environment, in a challenging program that provides
local youth the opportunity to acquire new skills and
interests at all ages. The Program runs the
duration of the school year, Monday through Fridays from
4 pm to 6 pm at the Baysville Arena. We also
facilitate action packed and educational PD Days.
The BASP is open to JK students to Grade 7 students.
The Baysville After School Program is accredited by HIGH
FIVE which is recognized by Parks and Recreation
Ontario. The BASP is the only municipal after
school program in Muskoka which has made healthy eating
habits a priority, as well as having a 50% physical
activity policy which allows parents to apply for the
child tax benefit. In addition to the healthy
eating and physical activities, the children will also
participate in fantastic programs and workshops
facilitated by local businesses, residents and talented,
creative and athletic individuals within the community.

the Township of Lake of Bays and the District of Muskoka.
