In 2014, Anne Corbin moved to Lake of Bays and opened Cedar Creek Gardening Services. Initially drawn to the area by friends who lived here – including local gardeners Neal Waters & Paula Vickery – she joined forces with them to create an experienced and reliable gardening team.

Owners Grant MacPherson and Lainie Knox recently opened Prairie Boy Bread in Dorset. The bakery serves organic sourdough bread, espresso, baked goods and gift items, all in a charming shop with porthole windows beside the Lake of Bays Marine Museum.
