Recreation and Parks Month
June is Recreation and Parks Month (JRPM) and this special month promotes and celebrates the benefits of recreation and parks on our physical, social and environmental health. Access to parks and recreation helps to foster health, strong communities, social inclusion and environmental well-being.

Although June might look different this year, we encourage everyone to get active. To help you get started we have provided a calendar with daily activities for you to take part in throughout the month of June. These activities can be done at home with family in the backyard or while out on trails or our open park spaces. Please remember to practice safe physical distancing if you are enjoying our outdoor amenities.
