Proposal

To rezone the subject lands to fulfil a condition of consent application B 30/18 LOB.

  • The effect of the by-law will be to:

    • rezone the severed lot from the Waterfront Residential “(WR)” Zone to a Waterfront Residential with an Exception “(WR-E425)” Zone to specify the proposed building, septic and dock envelopes, and implement the recommendations of a consultant’s water quality impact assessment, as well as a peer review of that study; it will also implement Section H.85 of the Township Official Plan
    rezone the retained lot from the Waterfront Residential “(WR)” Zone to a Waterfront Residential with an Exception “(WR-E426)” Zone to recognize the deficient road frontage

Planning Act Requirements

This application has been deemed complete in accordance with the Planning Act. 

 If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Township to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Township of Lake of Bays before the by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.

 If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Township before the by-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
