The rugged landscape of the Canadian Shield has inspired artists for over a century. This is where the Artists of the Limberlost call home. A collective of artists and craftspeople with studios located on Limberlost Road in the Township of Lake of Bays, Muskoka, their work covers a broad range of media and styles. You’ll find nature-inspired pottery, jewellery, fiber art and clothing, driftwood and stone sculpture, paintings in many styles and media, hand-forged knives, wood-turned burl art, and rustic and fine furniture.

The Artists of the Limberlost Studio Tour would have been held this month, but like so many other events, it has unfortunately been postponed to 2021. It is more important than ever this year to celebrate creativity and the power of art! Support the 21 diverse and talented local artists by digitally exploring their work online at and discover new pottery, fibre art, paintings, sculpture, furniture and more. You can also contact individual artists to inquire about options for solitary viewings and curb side pick-up.
