Vendor Fees
All fees are due upon acceptance or by May 1. Payment is not submitted with the application.

What You Can Sell
Ontario‑Grown and Ontario‑Made Products
- No products grown or produced outside Canada
- No citrus, bananas, or imported produce
- Non‑food items must be made or grown by the vendor
- Allowed with proper approvals
- Limited to 20 percent of total vendors
Alcoholic beverages, including locally made beer, wine, and spirits, may be sold at the Baysville Farmers’ Market, subject to applicable provincial laws and Health Unit guidelines.
Insurance and Health Requirements
- The Baysville Market is covered under a two‑million‑dollar liability policy that protects the Township
- Any additional insurance to protect individual vendors is the responsibility of the vendor
- Food vendors must submit required forms to the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit
- Vendors must display any required permits at their booth
Vendor Setup and Expectations
Arrival and Setup
- Arrive early enough to be fully set up by 10:50 a.m.
- Vehicles must be out of the market area by 10:15 a.m.
- Some vendors may park behind their booth if approved
Tents and Equipment
- Vendors must bring their own tent (max 12x12), tables, and supplies
- Tent weights are mandatory for safety
Staying for the Full Market
- Vendors must remain open until 6:00 p.m.
- Early departure is not allowed
Clean‑Up
- Vendors must leave their space clean and remove all waste
Space Assignments
Each space is approximately 12x12 feet
Seasonal vendors receive priority for space selection
Daily vendors are assigned on a first‑come, first‑served basis
Vendors may not set up outside designated areas
The Market Manager has final authority on placement Vendor Parking Use an accordion.
Vendor Parking
Vendors must park in the designated vendor parking area
Some vendors may park behind their booth if approved
Follow direction from the Market Manager on market day
Code of Conduct
Operate respectfully and safely
Follow all federal, provincial, and municipal regulations
Sell only approved products
Avoid disruptive noise or behaviour
Comply with all directions from the Market Manager
