Robert Lacroix
I moved to Muskoka and began working for Maurice Fitzmaurice and Boyer survey company in Bracebridge in 1976.
In 1980, I was hired by the District of Muskoka as a full time draftsman. In 1999, I was promoted to the environmental services division where I managed curbside waste and recycling.
In August 2010, I retired from the District with thirty years of service. I have been your District councilor for sixteen years and I am now looking to run for another term.
During my 16 years as your District councilor I have served on the Engineering and Public Works, Finance, Accessibility and Social Services Committees.
I have operated a property maintenance business for the past 30 years. I also maintain the flower gardens at the west entrance to Baysville, and the Centennial, Gristmill and Robertson parks. I am also the landscaper and maintenance man for the Saint Kateri Catholic Church property.
For the past 3 years I have participated in the Coldest Night of the Year. This year I was fortunate enough to raised $13K due to the generosity of all the Lake of Bays residence who sponsored me.
I look forward to serving you for another term if elected.
