A Note of Thanks and Appreciation to Our Business Community
I want to thank all the businesses in the Township for all you do to enrich our community. To those I’ve visited for our 2022 Lake of Bays Holiday Campaign, you have shown me proper Lake of Bays hospitality. Considering these challenging times, the conversations this year have been animated, illuminating and fun. We are confident, optimistic, and full of ideas for brighter days in 2023.
Key to our mandate is to promote and showcase the diverse and thriving businesses in the Township of Lake of Bays. From Baysville to Dorset, Hillside, Dwight, and all in between, our businesses have much to offer, not just to locals or tourists -- arts, crafts, foody stuff, manufactured goods, skilled trades, and professional services that reach beyond our borders to the world. Let’s celebrate together and share what we already know; we are more than trees and lakes, a drive-through place on the way somewhere else; we are a rich, diverse community of creators and producers open for business.
A final thought. We are blessed to live, work, and play in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Please remember that supporting our local businesses creates jobs, building a more vibrant community and robust homegrown economy. Buying local supports a local.
I look forward to seeing you in 2023 to chat and learn more about your business, plans, and dreams. I look forward to working together to showcase your business to the world.
