Weighed garbage services will be unavailable at McLean Transfer Station, located at 3901 Brunel Rd, Baysville, as of June 15 until work is complete. During this period, weighed garbage will not be accepted at this location and must be directed to an alternate transfer station.

(Lake of Bays, ON) The Township of Lake of Bays is pleased to announce the official opening of the Babb Family Splash Pad at the Lake of Bays Community Centre & Arena in Baysville, marked by a ribbon‑cutting ceremony on Saturday, June 20 at 1:00 p.m.

Under Noise Control By-law 2021-029, an application under Section 13 has been received by Township staff. The applicant is looking for an exemption from Schedule B, Item 1 &2 under Section 10, which would allow for amplification of sound (loudspeakers, electronic devices) and singing and yelling after 11:00 p.m.

(Lake of Bays, ON) The Township of Lake of Bays is pleased to share that the arena floor at the Lake of Bays Community Centre has reopened following continued monitoring and a recent inspection by the Township’s engineering team. As a result, the interior of the facility may now resume normal operations including previously cancelled programming.

(Lake of Bays, ON) On Saturday, May 23, 2026, at approximately 2:50 p.m., Lake of Bays Fire Rescue responded to a reported structure fire at a residence on Owls Court in Lake of Bays.
