Every year on April 28th the Township of Lake of Bays dedicates to remembering those who lost their lives or suffered injury or illness due to work-related tragedies. It's a day for us to renew our commitment to improving health and safety in our workplace.
Each workplace tragedy affects loved ones, family members, friends, and co-workers. Join the Township of Lake of Bays in taking a moment to remember and honour those impacted by these tragedies and work together to prevent further injuries and loss of life.
Every worker has the right to return home safe and sound at the end of each workday. By working together - with employers, workers, and our health and safety partners - we can prevent work injuries and deaths before they occur.
