Lake of Bays Charitable Fund Awards Grant to Muskoka Seniors

(Lake of Bays, ON) - The Township of Lake of Bays is pleased to recognize Muskoka Seniors as the recipient of a $3,000 grant from the Lake of Bays Charitable Fund in support of its Meals on Wheels program. 

This funding will help Muskoka Seniors expand its Meals on Wheels program further into Lake of Bays, helping to make this important service available to more members of our community. 

Muskoka Seniors is a non-profit charitable organization providing supportive services and programs to seniors across Muskoka. For more than 35 years, the organization has worked to support seniors in the region where now, more than 850 clients are active in at least one of its programs. 

The Lake of Bays Charitable Fund was established to support charitable organizations and programs that make an impact within the Township of Lake of Bays. Grants support projects delivered by charitable organizations working in areas including food insecurity, education, recreation, health and wellness, seniors, and children and youth.  

“Investments like this help strengthen local services and respond to the needs of residents throughout Lake of Bays,” said Wyatt Sneyd, Economic Development Officer.
