Budget Returning to Council for Final Consideration on December 9

(Lake of Bays, ON) - At the November 11 Council Meeting, staff presented the Draft 2026 Budget and Business Plan (BBP). As outlined in a previous media release, the BBP details how the Township plans to maintain service levels while responding to evolving community needs.

During the meeting, Council heard departmental presentations and deliberated on the Draft 2026 BBP. They directed staff to return with requested changes at the December 9, 2025, Council Meeting, where the budget will be considered for final adoption. This additional time allows Council and the public to thoroughly review the information presented and provide feedback.
