Half Load Restrictions to Be Lifted on May 15

(Lake of Bays, ON) - Seasonal half load restrictions on roads under the jurisdiction of the Township of Lake of Bays will lift effective Friday, May 15, 2026, unless otherwise posted.

Half load restrictions are applied each spring to protect roads while they soften during freeze‑thaw conditions. Once road conditions stabilize, normal weight limits can safely resume.
