Notice of Exemption To Noise Control By-Law: 1038 Inawendawin Road on July 25

Under Noise Control By-law 2021-029, an application under Section 13 has been received by Township staff.  The applicant is looking for an exemption from Schedule B, Item 1 &2 under Section 10, which would allow for amplification of sound (loudspeakers, electronic devices) and singing and yelling after 11:00 p.m. at the following location:

• Property located at 1038 Inawendawin Road, Dorset, ON, Township of Lake of Bays, District Municipality of Muskoka. 

The following date and time apply to the exemption:

• Lake Association Fundraiser, amplified music from a live band, yelling and shouting or similar noises made by a person, on Saturday, July 25th, 9:00 p.m. to Sunday, July 26th at 1:00 a.m. 

Comments on this exemption can be forwarded to By-law Services on or before July 3rd, 2026, at 4 p.m.
