Update: Significant Weather Event (SWE) Declared

(Dec. 30, 2025) Update: LIFTED: Significant Weather Event (SWE).  Due to the Township's crews' hard work in preparation for, during and following the recent winter storm, the Significant Weather Event (SWE) is lifted at 12:00 p.m. today.

(Dec. 28, 2025)The Township of Lake of Bays has declared a Significant Weather Event (SWE) for all roads in the Township due to Freezing Rain and the current Winter Storm.  Winter maintenance operations may take longer during this event, so please be patient and avoid unnecessary travel.
