Since launching in 2023, the Muskoka Job Board has become a valuable workforce development resource, bringing together employment opportunities from a broad selection of regional job boards into one convenient platform. Job seekers can explore available positions by keyword, job type, municipality, or through an interactive map highlighting opportunities throughout Muskoka. By bringing these opportunities together in one place, the Job Board also helps Muskoka employers reach job seekers who are specifically interested in finding employment and building their careers in the region.
The new healthcare video builds on Venture Muskoka’s broader workforce development campaign, which has previously highlighted careers in tourism, the skilled trades, and manufacturing. These initiatives were identified through the Muskoka Workforce Strategy and Implementation Plan, developed collaboratively by the District Municipality of Muskoka and the region’s six lower-tier municipalities to address current and future labour force needs.
