Have an idea to protect the environment in Lake of Bays? Funding is available through the Township’s Environmental Projects Grant Program to support grassroots initiatives that protect, enhance, or restore the environment in Lake of Bays.

At its Tuesday, October 14, 2025 meeting, Lake of Bays Township Council approved a by-law to implement a Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT), effective January 1, 2026.

On October 7, 2025, at approximately 4:20 a.m., the Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire on Delbrooke Road in Lake of Bays.

On October 9, 2025, at approximately 12:06 a.m., the Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Department responded to Muskoka Landing Long Term Care for an activated fire alarm.

On October 1, 2025, at approximately 10:00 a.m., the Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire on West Street South in Huntsville.
