On December 16, Angelo Raso visited Station 3 Hillside to present a $1,200 cheque to the Fire Department. The donation was made in memory of his son, Johnny, who tragically passed away in 2018 from a fentanyl overdose.
The proposed by-laws will come before the Township of Lake of Bays Council for consideration at its regular meeting to be held in a hybrid setting (in-person and electronically), on the 13th day of January, 2026, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. o’clock, in the morning.
(Lake of Bays, ON) At its meeting on December 9, 2025, Council adopted the Township’s 2026 Budget and Business Plan.
(Lake of Bays, ON) The next municipal election is approaching on October 26, 2026, and now is the time for residents to start thinking about taking an active role and exploring what it takes to serve on Council.
On behalf of the District of Muskoka, the Township would like residents to know that beginning January 2, 2026, garbage brought to District Waste Facilities and Transfer Stations must be placed in clear bags.
Please be advised of temporary road closures for the upcoming Baysville Lions Santa Claus Parade. The closures are scheduled for Sunday, December 7, 2025, starting at 1:00 pm and concluding at 4:00 pm.
The District of Muskoka is inviting residents to a second drop‑in coffee chat about the Muskoka Road 117 project in Baysville. This time, the session will be held at the Lake of Bays Arena in Baysville.
