The Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) – Bracebridge-Minden-Parry Sound District is advising area residents that a Flood Watch bulletin is in effect for all watersheds in the District until Wednesday, April 02, 2025. Residents should expect water levels to increase: the potential for flooding exists.

The Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) has added a Flood Watch bulletin within the area of the North Branch of the Muskoka River and on the Moon River (Bala Reach). The bulletin is in effect until Friday, March 28, 2025.

The Township of Lake of Bays is primarily within the Muskoka Watershed and a Flood Watch means that a potential for flooding on these watersheds exists. 

The Ministry of Natural Resources – Bracebridge Minden Parry Sound District is advising area residents that a Watershed Conditions Statement - Flood Outlook bulletin is in effect in the District until Friday, March 21, 2025.
