All residents of Lake of Bays must be on the Register of Voters to cast a ballot during municipal elections.

Voting will be open on Wednesday October 24, 2026 at 10:00 AM.  It will remain open until the close of the election on Monday October 26, 2026 at 8:00 PM.

As the voting method is by telephone and through the internet, there is no need for proxy voting.

Eligible voters can cast their votes using the internet from anywhere in the world, or by using a touch-tone phone from anywhere in the World.

The Election Help Centre will be set up at the Municipal Office located at 1012 Dwight Beach Road, Dwight. During the voting period starting on Wednesday October 14, 2026 at 10:00 AM, and ending Monday October 26, 2026 at 8:00 PM with voting kiosks for anyone seeking assistance to cast their vote.

The Township of Lake of Bays Election Help Centre will be located at the Municipal Office in Dwight during the voting period. Starting on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM, and ending Monday, October 26, 2026, at 8:00 PM, Council Chambers will be designated as the Election Help Centre where voting equipment and internet access at kiosk stations will be available.
