Tax Sales
The Township of Lake of Bays occasionally lists properties for sale when property taxes are unpaid for a specific period. Property owners are notified before their property is listed for sale.
Under the Municipal Act, 2001, municipalities have the authority to recover unpaid property taxes by selling the property through a public tender process.
