(Lake of Bays, ON) The Township of Lake of Bays will launch a Baysville Farmers’ Market for the 2026 season, ensuring the community continues to have access to a local market after the previous private operator stepped away.

(Huntsville/Lake of Bays) – On February 5, 2026, at approximately 3:00 p.m., the Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire on Oak Ridge Road in Huntsville.

Please note that due to inclement weather, the Municipal Office in Dwight will close at 3:00 p.m. today, Thursday, January 22. We will reopen and be ready to assist you tomorrow, Friday, January 23, at 8:30 a.m.

The proposed by-laws will come before the Township of Lake of Bays Council for consideration at its regular meeting to be held in a hybrid setting (in-person and electronically), on the 10th day of February, 2026, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. o’clock, in the morning.

The Township of Lake of Bays is seeking a qualified and professional consulting firm to complete an Active Transportation Strategy.
