The Township of Lake of Bays will be completing high-float resurfacing on the following roads:
Please be advised that the Lake of Bays Fire Rescue Fire Fest event will take place on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, resulting in a temporary road closure of Dwight Beach Road from 12:00 p.m. on July 1 until 12:00 a.m. on July 2. Residents and visitors are asked to plan accordingly and follow all posted signage, detours and parking regulations.
Weighed garbage services will be unavailable at McLean Transfer Station, located at 3901 Brunel Rd, Baysville, as of June 15 until work is complete. During this period, weighed garbage will not be accepted at this location and must be directed to an alternate transfer station.
Moot Lake Road will be closed on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for culvert replacement work. The closure will affect properties from approximately 1170 Moot Lake Road to the end of the road.

(Lake of Bays, ON) The Township of Lake of Bays is pleased to share some positive news regarding the Community Centre, Arena and Library facility in Baysville. As of today, the Library portion of the facility has reopened, allowing library services and programs to resume.
A public water tap is now available at the Baysville Fire Station at 12 University Street, across from the Lake of Bays Community Centre during the closure.
