Take Notice that tenders are invited for the purchase of the lands described below and will be received until 3:00 p.m. local time on May 28, 2026, at the Lake of Bays Municipal Office, 1012 Dwight Beach Road, Dwight, Ontario. The tenders will then be opened in public on the same day as soon as possible after 3:00 p.m. at the Lake of Bays Municipal Office, 1012 Dwight Beach Road, Dwight.

The Ministry of Natural Resources has extended the Flood Warning for the area until May 6.

The proposed by-laws will come before the Township of Lake of Bays Council for consideration at its regular meeting to be held in a hybrid setting (in-person and electronically), on the 12th day of May, 2026, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. o’clock, in the morning.

The Ministry of Natural Resources has extended the Flood Warning for the area until April 29, and the Township continues to actively monitor conditions and respond where needed.

Accessible door openers at the Municipal Office are temporarily out of service.

Township crews are advising of water on the roadway at the following locations: Fairy Falls Road near 1077 and Fairy Falls Road near 1176

Motorists are asked to use caution when travelling in these areas and avoid driving through pooled or flowing water where possible.
