TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Lake of Bays will be considering proposed amendments to the User Fees & Charges By-law at the regularly scheduled meeting held on May 14, 2024.
The Township of Lake of Bays is pleased to announce that as of April 18, 2024, the Community Planning Permit (CPP) By-law 2021-111 is now in force and effect.
The By-law can be found on the Township’s website. All planning applications will now be processed and evaluated according to the Community Planning Permit By-law.

Members of the Huntsville Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were busy patrolling Huntsville and Lake of Bays this past long weekend.
Between Friday, April 29, 2024, to Monday, April 2, 2024 members from the Huntsville OPP laid a total of 132 traffic related charges. Officers conducted traffic enforcement with a focus on the "Big Four" which include impaired driving, distracted driving, speeding, and lack of seatbelt use.
